Control unit for the CG-3000 automatic tuner

The control unit CG-CTU provides the function to supply the CG-3000 tuner with power and to trigger the tuning process remotely.

The CG-CTU works with all radios. Simply connect a 12 V power supply, connect the tuner, press the Tune button on the CG-CTU and you are ready to go. The status (tuned, not tuned) is signalled via an LED.

For users of Icom radios with tuner socket, integration into their own station is particularly easy – the CG-CTU is supplied with an approx. 1m long cable with a plug for the Icom tuner socket. This way, the tuner is supplied with power via the radio, and the tuning process can be triggered via the radio’s “Tune” button. For non-Icom radios, a cable adapter to 12 V is included and the “Tune” button on the control unit is used,

The 4-wire connection cable to the tuner is 10 m long and equipped with plugs.  Dimensions 100 × 70 × 35 mm, weight without cable 750g.
